Commissioned by the bike owner’s girlfriend, she wanted this incredible bike painted with a landmark image in the background of the Ventura, CA area; the Ventura pier worked out perfectly…. the original was given to the owner of the bike at a gathering of Ventura HOG, needless to say he was blown away.

Channel Islands Design
Robert’s background as art director, designer, airbrush artist and photographer for numerous agencies led to the founding of his own company “Graymatter” in 1980. As his ad agency and design firm grew, he made Channel Islands Harbor home, and Channel Islands Design was born.
From their ocean front property, the Grays operate one of the largest Creative Ad Agencies in Ventura County. Established in 1980, the company has changed to fit the times.
CID spends much of the time building websites, designing literature for print and web delivery, as well as large graphic design for expos and trade show booths.
Robert continues doing studio photography and is a drone pilot.
